Every Friday morning until the end of the term, we will be having Te Reo Maori classes with Mrs Yeoman.  This week Mrs Yeoman taught us lots of new vocabulary, sentence structures and waiata.

Thank You Mrs King

A huge "Thank You" to Mrs King who has been teaching Room 11 on Monday and Tuesday this term while Mrs Smith has been overseas.  On Friday we made a special poster for Mrs King, telling her about all the things we have enjoyed over the last five weeks.  Mrs Smith will be back to see us on Monday and we are looking forward to hearing about all her holiday adventures!

James shares his Learning Commitment

James amazed us on Friday with his wonderful Titanic presentation.  James shared a lego model of the Titanic as well as a very detailed PowerPoint as part of his Learning Commitment Goal.  Well done James.  We were all very impressed!

This term we have been doing lots of fun S.T.E.A.M. activities.  These activities include Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics skills.  Today we helped our buddies from Kindle 1 to complete S.T.E.A.M. tasks.  We had a fantastic, creative, messy but busy afternoon!  We look forward to sharing some of our S.T.E.A.M. learning with you at the Open Night on Thursday 23rd August.

Homework Optional Extra - Blog Posts

Our optional extra for homework this week was to take a photo and write something to share on our class blog.  Well done Teya and Libby for completing this!  Check out their great posts below:

Here is the photo of my pet cat called Jessie. She is my favourite pet. She is 17 years old but she can still run very fast just like me!  By Libby
