Toy Technology

This term we have been working with our little buddies in Kindle 1 to create toys that move.  So far we have made spinning snakes, pinwheels and gliders.  We had fun launching our gliders off the balcony this afternoon!

Super Hero of the Week #9

Congratulations to Bella who is this week's super hero.  Bella is very helpful in Room 11 and works hard on all her learning tasks.  Keep up the great work Bella!

Libby's Learning Commitment

Libby's Learning Commitment goal this year was to choreograph a song and share her dance with the class.  Check out the cool video below of Libby dancing in the dark to the car stereo!

Bella's Learning Commitment

On Friday, Bella shared her Learning Commitment goal with us.  Bella generously made the class cupcakes and presented a PowerPoint of how to make them.  Fantastic work Bella!

Super Hero of the Week #8

Well done to Liam who is our Super Hero of the Week.  Liam has been trying super hard in Room 11 and Mrs McCulley and Mrs Smith are very proud of him.

Success at the Poetry Competition

Congratulations to Tim who won first place in the Year 4 Poetry Competition.  We are super proud of you Tim!

Singing at Assembly

Many children in Room 11,  have been invited on stage to sing with Dr Galloway during assembly.  Tvishaa, Carlin, Liliana, Libby, Teya, Bella and Eshaal have all been singing stars!

Super Hero of the Week #7

Congratulations to Seb who is our current superhero!  Seb is a great friend to the other children in Room 11 and is making great progress with all his work.  Well done Seb!

Collecting Cans

Room 11 have being showing the character value of the term 'Compassion' by collecting cans for Countdown's Food Rescue Appeal and Octacan.  We are making sure kiwis don't go hungry this winter!  Thank you to everyone who made a donation to those in need.

Dress Up Day

On Friday we dressed up as online characters.  The classroom was full of Minecraft characters, Harry Potters,  Football players and many children wore their onesies! We brought along lots of sweet treats to support the PTA with their raffles.

Super Hero of the Week #6

Liliana is our sixth lucky super hero this term.  Liliana is a great role model in Room 11.  She shows all of the George Street Normal character values.  Great work Liliana!

Congratulations to our latest superhero, James!  James is a super student in Room 11.  He is always friendly and has a lovely smile!  James works hard to complete all of his work to a high standard.
