On Thursday, Room 11 went for a trip to the Dunedin Art Gallery. The children had a tour of the gallery and then learned about the famous artist Picasso. We found out that Picasso's portraits were different to those who painted and drew portraits before him, because he played around with colour and different perspectives to produce portraits which were a bit crazy and didn't look life-like. Our Picasso portraits are hanging in our classroom. You are welcome to come in and see them.
Your Picasso drawings are fantastic - so colourful and strange, in exactly the right way! Well done Room 11!
